The company Cacao del Peru Norte SAC, participated in the 1st Forum Cacao, agribusiness farming with the greatest potential for the Loreto Region, organized by the College of Engineers of Peru-Loreto-Chapter Departmental Council of Agricultural Engineers. Operations Manager-Ing. Ernesto Vega, participated in the event with a reference to the cultivation of cocoa exposure, agroforestry and coverage with legume commelina being employed in the plantations of the company. The event was attended by various public and private institutions concerned with the development of culture in the region.

The President of the Republic of Peru, Ollanta Humala, visited Tamshiyacu and was warmly received by Company management, PAPEC participants and community.

On 17 April 2015, the Company announced the inauguration of its small farmer program - PAPEC ( Programa Alianza Producción Estratégica Cacao) with 150 hectares. The program started with 150 families in the area surrounding the Company's estate (one hectare each). We intend to grow the program to over 3,000 families. The Vice Admiral of the Peruvian Navy (Iquitos) officiated the event.
